YOGA VACATIONS

A great way to go on vacation and really feel a difference. The yoga vacation is designed to recharge your batteries and rejuvenate body, mind and spirit to leave you feeling inspired, revitalised and peaceful. Based on the 5 Points of Yoga of Swami Vishnudevananda the vacation program provides comprehensive teaching for everyone from beginners to the more advanced, in the company of like-minded souls and in an uplifting and inspirational environment. Enrol in one of our experiential programs or certification courses, or enjoy the cultural programs we offer. Visit for a few days, a week or two or more and experience the benefits of taking a long- overdue break from the stresses of everyday life. There are ten Sivananda Ashrams world-wide which offer the Yoga Vacation program all year round. Sivananda Yoga Vacations and Retreats are also offered in other locations outside the Ashrams - ask your local Sivananda Yoga City Centre for details.

The daily ashram schedule of morning and evening satsang (meditation, chanting and a short talk on the philosophy of yoga), morning and afternoon yoga classes and an afternoon program gives you plenty of free time to rest or socialise with like-minded guests. We enjoy two delicious vegetarian meals daily. All guests are encouraged to help around the Ashram (karma yoga) for an hour daily.
